Blacker Inkwells Media, LLC is a media and artist consultant agency that strives to assess, address and facilitate client needs in a 21st century landscape. Functioning as a boutique-style, one-stop organization, Blacker Inkwells Media collaborates with clients in order to achieve a set of goals surrounding a series of artistic, digital, visual, sonic and creative needs.
In 2008, blacker inkwells Publishing Group, LLC was created to provide an artistic and collaborative space for underrepresented writers and artists within mainstream publishing and media culture. As contemporary publishing and media culture changed, we were able to reassess the landscape and reimagine what the needs of artists, researchers and creatives might look like moving forward. Blacker Inkwells reconfigured itself around those objectives in order to form Blacker Inkwells Media, LLC.

Stefanie Douglas
Chief Media Consultant
Stefanie Douglas is the Chief Media Consultant for Blacker Inkwells Media, LLC. Douglas has a long-standing history in music, arts and entertainment in Philadelphia, PA. Serving as a store manager and record buyer for Philadelphia institutions such as Footwork Illadelph and Cue Records, she also worked as an event curator and tastemaker. Douglas was a key member of events such as Beat Society, B-Boy BBQ, Soul Clap with Illvibe Collective and various other arts and music events in Philadelphia, New York, Washington, DC and Los Angeles, CA. She went onto work at Barefoot Distribution and then returned to school to complete her degree in Education. Incorporating her curation skills with her passion for education and working with children, Douglas went on to do Marketing and Promotions at Baby Loves Disco. Douglas has been honing her skills, combining her talents in curation, arts, music and education in order to navigate the course of Blacker Inkwells Media, LLC.
